Premium latex foam plays a starring role in our mattress designs—it’s high performing and feels great.

We use Vita Talalay latex from Radium Foam, a Dutch manufacturer and international leader in Talalay latex production.

Founded in 1932, Radium Foam has been making Talalay latex since 1961. Their Vita Talalay Natural latex foam is made from rubber-based latex with no additives.

The latex is extracted from the Hevea Brasiliensis tree from South-East Asia and then goes through a production process of freezing, vulcanization, oxidization and thorough washing. The resulting foam is soft yet supportive, durable, and naturally ventilating.

Latex milk comes from tapping the rubber tree Hevea Brasiliensis.

“To make great mattresses, we have to use exceptional materials,” explained General Manager and Product Designer Steven Majoros. “This has led us to source many of our components, including latex, from the European market.”

Radium Foam uses the latest manufacturing technology in modern factories and has well established quality control and standards. Vita Talalay is eco-certified by both Oeko-Tex Class 1 and Cradle-to-Cradle Gold Certified.
